Chairman & CEO: Quintin Wu

In the face of intense volatility in the international political and economic landscape, the urgent challenges of climate change, and structural updates in the petrochemical industry supply chain, we continued to adhere to our philosophy of "Creating Sustainable Value and Cultivating a Sustainable Society" in 2025, striving to generate long-term shared benefits for all stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, employees, society, and the environment. To cope with macro-environmental uncertainties, we have deployed more agile actions and resolute governance decisions to deepen corporate resilience and drive comprehensive transformation.

Precision Transformation to Deepen High-Value Blue Ocean Markets

Over the past year, the commodity resin market was confronted with severe overcapacity, plunging the petrochemical industry into unprecedented red-ocean competition. We deeply recognize that transitioning toward high-added value is the ultimate answer to sustainable operations. Therefore, we have actively invested in developing lightweight, high-performance, and low-carbon circular material products. USI Corporation, Asia Polymer Corporation, Taita Chemical Company, Limited, and China General Plastics Corporation have all achieved ISO 14021 material certification and are developing recycled circular products while continuously expanding the breadth of B2C consumer applications. We pledge to deliver higher-quality and more innovative, competitive solutions to our customers, ensuring long-term profitability for shareholders and a long-lasting corporate foundation.

Agile Collaboration to Empower Operational Management with AI

In an era where profit margins are heavily compressed, we actively optimize our internal operational health. We are comprehensively promoting the practical implementation of AI technology, integrating artificial intelligence into manufacturing, administrative administration, and R&D workflows to significantly boost resource efficiency and process yield via data-driven models. Meanwhile, we are dedicated to forging a highly efficient "One Team" cross-departmental collaboration culture. This not only empowers all colleagues with greater capability amidst changes, but we also hope to extend this efficient and lean management experience externally, driving supply chain partners to step concurrently toward modernized operational excellence.

Climate Resilience to Deepen Nature-related Financial Disclosures

We profoundly understand the interdependence between business operations and the natural environment. In terms of climate action, both USI Corporation and China General Plastics Corporation achieved a "B" (Management) level rating in the CDP climate change and water security questionnaires. This outstanding achievement reflects our excellent transparency in environmental governance and our practical commitment to addressing climate risks and implementing resource management. We are steering more firmly toward our long-term targets of "reducing carbon emissions by 27% compared to the base year by 2030" and "achieving carbon neutrality by 2050." To execute low-carbon operations, USI Green Energy Corporation has continuously expanded its green power layout. In 2025, its grid-connected solar capacity reached 9MW, generating over 11.25 million kWh annually, with a further target to achieve a 12MW installation scale by 2027. Furthermore, in response to global attention on biodiversity, the group's five listed companies have fully launched the "Taskforce on Nature related Financial Disclosures (TNFD)" initiative. Through systematically identifying the dependence and impact of operational activities on natural capital, we have elevated environmental risk management to a brand new tier, materializing our protection commitments to the ecological environment.

Human Rights Protection and Social Inclusion

Employees are the foundation of corporate transformation. We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and safety-oriented workplace. Concurrently, we share the fruits of corporate growth with society through the USI Education Foundation. In 2025, the foundation invested a total of approximately NT$10.04 million to continuously support scholarships for 4 CH1 Sustainable Operation CH2 Corporate Governance and Operational Performance CH3 Innovation and Supply Chain Services USI Corporation 2025 ESG Report CH4 Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change outstanding students, education and local revitalization in rural Hualien and Taitung, rural medical services, tutoring for underprivileged children, indigenous cultural revival, and ocean beach cleanups, exerting a tangible and far-reaching social impact.

 2025 ESG Key Achievements

An investment of NT$906 million was made in Kaohsiung Intercontinental Container Terminal (ICT) Project Phase 2, which was completed and commissioned in the third quarter to strengthen the future dispatch and stable supply of ethylene. In 2025, the development and refinement of 9 representative new products were accomplished, continuing the strategic pivot toward energy-saving and high-value products. Regarding energy saving and carbon reduction, the annual electricity saving rate reached 1.7% (with an average electricity saving rate of 1.48% from 2015 to 2025), and the water saving rate was 6.6%. Furthermore, we secured verification from the Foundation of Taiwan Industry Service, confirming a water recycling rate of 91.4% for the year 2024. Since 2020, we have joined forces with contractors to implement the Operation Clean Sweep resin pellet recovery program, continuously reducing plastic pellets and dust from entering the marine environment at the source. At the invitation of our customers, we participated in and successfully completed the Ministry of Economic Affairs' "Supply Chain Low-carbon Transition Coaching Program," accumulating a carbon reduction of 13,113 metric tons of CO2e over the past two years.

Looking ahead, market challenges remain stringent, yet our direction forward is exceptionally clear. We will continue to take execution and cross-boundary collaboration as our cornerstone, stepping firmly forward on the path of sustainable development. We appreciate the long-term trust and support of all stakeholders and look forward to walking hand-in-hand with you to build a long term future filled with resilience and value.
